Motor Bike Seat Re-Covering

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have a 9 year old Yamaha Spark 110CC bike that is in very good condition that I don't want to replace. However, the seat needs re-covering.

Any ideas where I can get this done?

Thanks for your help.

Edit:

I found this place on another thread. Anyone know if this is still there?

Just had my Benelli BN600 motorcycle seat fully recovered by Ehasai Uphholstery ,Thepprasit Road opposite Soi 10,Pattaya 100 metres from Colloseum towards suhkuhmvit.

All done in 40 minutes in black with red stitching for 600 baht.

Great job!

Yes, had mine done at a shop on 3rd Rd. Turn off Klang heading South, on the left. An obvious motorcycle repair shop. Opposite soi 15.

I also bought one of those covers that are elasticated, stops you burning your bum and seems to deter my cat that messed up the seat in the first place.

Thanks for the reply Jacko45K. I have just looked for it using Google Maps - cannot find Soi 15. Is it near Big C (the old Carrefour) end of 3rd Road?

Well start from that end and drive towards Tai, soi 13 on your right has the 7-11 on the corner, next is soi 15 on the right. The shop is on the left. Obvious with the grid ramps to get the bikes in and out.

Same here.

But they are getting harder and harder to find for some reason.

Managed to get one on Lazada earlier in the year, but I could not find one locally.

JohnG thanks for the reply and the map. I have to go to immigration, so I could pop in there on the way past to see what they say.

They did a good job on my seat  years ago, (2012  350 baht)

did it whilst I waited I also got them to re-sculpture the seat foam because I kept sliding off the front with the original seat design

Still ok to this day  but I do keep it out of the sun.

Another ???? from me for this shop. Good job and not expensive at all.
Next to it is a shop, selling gas tanks. Well visible from 3rd road.

There are a couple of shops specialising in upholstery along Theprasit road

I think this one is still there ????

Yes, I used that one many years ago and they did a decent job, not sure if they're still there though. Almost directly opposite Soi 8, and the traffic is so crazy around that area (half the soi's along Thepprasit and all within around 200 metres) you can't afford to take your eyes off the road.
