Anyway, the Brexit party have made it abundantly clear that their policy is No Deal. I'm still waiting 2 years to see what Labour's policy is, the only one I am sure on is their tactic of negotiating a deal with the EU and then voting against the same deal that they negotiated. ????

Well originally I am from the midlands so not really north or south.  Went to uni up north and then headed down south directly afterwards.  It is not really where you start out in life, it is where you end up.  At home we didn't have any money and a lot of sacrifices were made to get me to university. I never forget that and will always be eternally grateful.

It may appear odd, but it accords with party policy, which is to offer a realistic alternative Brexit, or remain, in a referendum. No deal is disappearing of the table, and May's deal has flaws which the LP would wish to address if (Big if of course) they came to power. There is nothing at all strange about supporting Remain, but wishing to offer a sensible alternative. The alternative would have to be negotiated whatever you supported.

Townhouses is more Islington and other areas (usually associated with the Georgian era), Hampstead a different type of architecture. As for where immigrants live, I am guessing that that comment is coming from outside London.

Because, when the expression 'clean deal brexit' would become of common use, as they hope it will:

1. they would have succeeded in eliminating the negativity of 'no deal', rather associating themselves with the positivity of 'clean deal', being the good guys, progressively wiping away the truth of the facts in the populace's mind;

2. it would become 'normal' for them to call any, eventual (or attempt to reach such), negotiated deal, a 'dirty deal', degrading the supporters of it to a second category of despicable 'untermenschen', next to the 'traitors' / 'undemocratic remainers'.

(N.B.: there is into this not any parallel with the build-up of fascistoïd propaganda methods in the past)
