Has anybody got a decent plumber they can recommend that can fit a new hot water boiler?

Where on earth do you buy one anyway?

I'm not DIY orientated at all....as you can surmise!!

All I know is it's leaking and there is no hot water.

Cheers

Last time I helped a CM Pensioner with a plumbing issue, I was bought a cup of instant coffee at 711..saw him later that evening drinking pints at Red Lion.  Siam TV sells some with free install.  They won't do a three wire install, so you are 100 times more likely to be electrocuted.. but a dog bite is way more likely.  If it is leaking internally, do not use it, period.  I paid 2400 for a 3500 watt Panasonic at lazada.  Very well designed.

Get an electrician to fit an RCD to the heater circuit.

Heaters here are almost disposable items. One fails, buy another one at HomePro, Thai Watsadu, Global House etc. Most will offer installation for a fee. AFAIK Lazada does not do installation.

What do you need it to feed?

Shower, basin, kitchen sink or all of them?

Is it a multipoint you want or just a typical shower?

A photo of what you have now will give us an idea of what you may need.

And if its just a leak you may just need your nuts tightened????

Thanks guys,

I have managed to contact an electrician who is coming over today to hopefully sort it out

Your comments are very much appreciated as is your willingness to support a fellow ex-pat

Whenever I have entered homepro in the past 10 years or so, I was greeted with water heater promotion Ka, so I suggest you have a look there.

They have electricians on recommendation as well.

Go solar ????

Get a grip man.

Setting up a solar powered hot water system is going to cost you the price of 4 new boilers.

It would be easier to boil a kettle and use a watering can

Homepro is not the cheapest but can install it if purchased there. If you bought one already and still need an installer please PM me.

Thanks very much for the offer.

I have already had a new one installed that we brought from Homepro on "Special Offer" it was 15,800 Baht
