Driving Licence Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm asking for help ref my driving licence.

I'm not in good health currently, so I was hoping I could avoid the issues of doing it myself.

So can I have sugestions and perhaps cost of where to get this effected. (Pattaya Area) (Thai 5 year licence renewal)

Thanks

waste of time using an agent, you will still have to attend and go through all the steps in person, if you are not well enough to spend a few hours at the DLT then I assume you are not well enough to drive, you can delay renewal until you are well enough by up to a year I believe

Agencies seem to hold your hand for around 5k but you still need to do the eye and reaction tests. I think if you want to bypass all that and just pick up a licence it's far more expensive. One agent quoted me 29k, i did it myself for 350 baht

Wow..... did it include a retirement extension and multi-re-entry permit?

You not feel fit for to to the Driver licence test... but you feel fit for driving a car?

If this is something temporary wait a little bit and when you feel fit again then go there for the renewal.
