Internet for home rental Pattaya recommendations?

Featured Replies

I have Google searched for internet recommendations that led me to Thai Visa Forums' links but all were pretty dated.  Not sure if I have searched properly but search feature on Thai Visa Forum did not help me further.

The following considerations are what I am trying to establish as well in any contract:

* Minimum contract term required/offers

* Download/Upload speed & unlimited internet packages

* Upfront registration fees if applicable

* Month to month payments or upfront annual payments?

* Installation fees

* WIFI router loan fees

* Change of address fee or ability to carry over contract to new address

* Early cancellation fees/penalties

Unfortunately I have found that it is hard to extract information from Internet Service Providers here in Pattaya.

First thing you need to determine is where your house will be and what internet providers (There are only 2-3) have service wired to your neighborhood/house...

Thanks sfokevin.  Staying in Central Pattaya area.  Have established 3BB & TRUE can service my area so far.

True Internet packages - http://trueonline.truecorp.co.th/package?ln=en

3BB - https://www.3bb.co.th/3bb/product/internet_package/2

Go to Big C Central. Both companies have offices there so you should be able to get answers on questions not covered.

TOT probably cover and they have a big office on the corner of Central rd and 3rd Road but I have no experience of.

https://www.tot.co.th/en/fiber2u/register - could not find an English link for non fibre packages.

Went to Big C and visited both 3BB and True.  Decided on 3BB.  Will take 2 weeks for the connection as booked out at the moment!  Thanks.
