EMS or alternative for mail to GB?

Featured Replies

I need to send some documents in reasonable time frame, about 7 days, to England. Any recommendations please what service to use without spending a small fortune. Thanks. MS>

I stay in East Pattaya and use DHL online to set up home pickup. Send docs to UK every couple of months or so and usually takes 3/4 days max. Cost usually about B1,000. Found it to be painless and efficient.

Did use the DHL office on 2nd Road a few years back, before setting up the online collection, and that was more expensive plus a hassle at times if traffic was bad.

Yep, as above states. Dhl is the best one, and for an ok price of 1000-2000 baht. It´s not like you´re sending everyday, right? ????

Reliable, Fast & To the door step

I recently used the Post Office on Soi 13/2 off Beach Rd to send a short document to the UK by EMS. It cost 800 Baht or so and prices are variable by weight. Item was posted at 12.30pm on a Friday and arrived Monday am in the UK. I was well impressed.

EMS prices have skyrocketed, so now I use standard post office registered airmail. Cheap and get there in 3-5 days.

I've always used Express Mail, Thai Post, trackeable immediately to time of end delivery, 3-4 days and only about 120 Baht.
