The following may be of interest to anyone going to Singapore for a visa.

The Singapore Embassy has changed its visa application hours. It now closes at 11.30 a.m. for application submissions (it used to be 12.30, then it changed to 12.15). The pick up hours the following day are unchanged at 2.30 p.m. until 4.30 p.m.

If you arrive after 11.30 the security guys will not let you in and in any case they switch off the ticket machine so you can't get a queue number.

Yes my friend go there last Thursday and was 15 mins late. They refused to take his application. You would think they would tell the media like Thai Visa they are going to change their times. As it was Thursday and now cant apply till Friday.. he has to wait till Monday now to collect his visa! Dont they understand how much trouble they put people too?? So bloody frustrating

Nice hours. Good to see that these people are taking measures to make sure there is absolutely no chance they will ever be overworked.

Maybe making sure they can handle the increasing number of applications within the required time.

Working harder or more efficiently should be the response,

not shutting out the customers. :o

I would assume that the op meant "Thailand's embassy in Singapore" since he mentioned going to Singapore for visas. Singapore Embassy would meant that to be in Bangkok. :o

As long as the rules are clear, I see no problem.

Be there before 11:30 am and pick up the visa next afternoon.

Correct. It wasn't very well worded. I am of course referring to the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.

Are you serious ? We are talking about a government office not the corner coffee shop
