No link available as I heard it on Television news.

You're adding words now ("I killed Baghdadi"). I was responding to the @stevenl response. There is no mention there of "I killed Baghdadi".

END of COMMENTS FOR ME ON THIS SILLY DISCUSSION.

CNN and Jake Tapper 'applaud' President Trump for press conference performance following al-Baghdadi's death.

Something about pants on fire comes to mind.  Silly really, but the shoe fits.

I agree Obama was very nice.  And I agree that Obama may be why we have some of the problems we have today.  But I bet we disagree on what the problems are.  ????

I originally posted that comment with tongue in cheek.

Interesting that no one's gone anywhere near my main comment that Trump admitted, nay bragged, that it was all about seizing the Syrian/kurdish oilfields for US/US oil companies to exploit.

I'll gladly go near it: of course it's about oil. It's always been about oil- except, of course when Obama was president, right? Libya had nothing to do with oil. Neither did us going into Syria, right?

Well I give credit where credit is due and this deserves that in every way.

Only the US has the power and capability to implement such an operation and it success.

Anyway seeing the left start crying and whining and spewing their outrage is a sure sign something went right.

Also the posts saying his remarks are going to lead to retaliation are absolutely moronic. Like they weren't already trying to kill us. Hopefully they get angry and stick their necks out so we can kill some more of them.

It does seem that a few people can not stop from letting their blind hatred of Trump blocking them from seeing good news in anything.

Trump compared them to dogs ; he did not say they were sub-humans - that's all right.

Pretty funny they want open info and transparency while they do their little inquest behind closed doors. Especially considering their inquest isn't classified or a matter of national security and this strike was.

Well, let's just say I'd likely be sanctioned on this board for answering that question freely. I think you get my drift.

I would like some of you people to read some of your posts while looking yourself in the face in the mirror. Far worse things are said about Trump everyday on this website with at most times seeming impunity. To even come here and pretend to be outraged that Trump called this piece of garbage a dog is pathetic.

If you read my original post, you'll see that I said exactly that, Trump, in his statement, berated Obama for not grapbbing all of the oil in Iraq, instead of just some of it. Which is why I said that Trump is the first president to admit that the thousands of American lives that have been lost in the Middle East have been lost to an oil grab.

There is no doubt Pelosi would have warned al-Baghdadi just to rob Trump of a victory.

We should in fact grab it all, especially given how many American lives have been lost. We need to stop thinking there is something wrong with that.

I'm sure that Trump's base would agree with that, the rest of the planet, not so much.

I know it is hard for TDS sufferers to see the difference, but if you look very closely at this you can see how the media is not quite giving Trump the adoration and praise that they adorned Obama with when Bin Laden was killed.

PS - verified - not fake - it was withdrawn after the storm of protest - TDS is real- poor buggers - 5 more years.

Going forward the Trump Administration is going to shut out the House as much as legally allowed.  And they would love to take this issue to the SCOTUS, and probably will, because the People of USA voted Trump (like it or not) to be the POTUS and to run the country.  USA is not like UK, Aust etc. whereby the Leader is chosen from amongst the Politicians, nor is USA like those countries where the POTUS is basically a figurehead.  In USA the POTUS is the head of State and head of the Government of the United States of America. The POTUS directs the Executive Branch of the Federal Government and is the Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces.  Trump was elected to run the Country - not the members of the USA House and Senate.  And while I am here - the Judiciary was not elected to run the country either - and I reckon in Trump's second term that issue (over-reach) will also be decided at SCOTUS.

Since you are such a big proponent of democracy consider this.,

trump received 46% of the popular vote.

and more than 50% want him impeached and removed.

Fake News.

False Statements.

USA is a Republic.

USA POTUS elections are based on the Electoral College system (so the big States like NY/CA dont decide).

Wrong Statements.

A lot of Trump voters did not bother voting in 2016 (NY and CA) as they knew the outcome there.

A lot of illegals voted for Hillary - also in those big States.

Dems Impeachment will fail - even if it makes it to the Senate.

2020 is going to be a landslide for Trump.

Way less than 50% want him impeached and removed - more like 30% - a very loud and angry and aggressive 30% - but about 30% none the less.

2020 is going to be huuuuuge ????

Most of the rest of the world has been working with the US to be the world's police force all along. Perhaps your governments are not informing you, or probably you don't want to listen. The biggest problem is they don't pay their bills as Trump has pointed out.

Long ago when I was a child I knew it was the oil. My parents knew, the country and all the world new, the British knew because they set up Iran's oil industry before WWII. The Russians knew because they compete with the Middle East. Japan and China knew because they need it. The oil has always been there to maintain a stable world economy. We all knew and we all knew that we all knew.

And then came some lefty and said, IT'S THE OIL! hairraising.gif.234e62a08b3b8db78bc0ce6cbcee4823.gif

The successful raid was based on excellent work by US intelligence agencies (that Trump has denigrated since he took office) and US troops on the ground (that Trump is pulling out) and with significant help from our Kurdish allies (who Trump has betrayed and abandoned).

Of course Trump takes credit for it all, and releases classified operational details in the process.

Pelosi has been trusted with classified for 20 years and never implicated in a leak.  Trump was handing over classified to Russia shortly after taking office.

It does seem very odd. Anti-Trump people are livid that Trump got us out of Syria, citing ISIS as a huge reason to stay there. Logic would dictate they would be extremely happy Trump gave the order to kill Baghadi, resulting in a successful operation. But they're still not happy.

I'm happy we're out of Syria. I'm happy Baghdadi is dead.

Oh no its not that we are unhappy with Trump or the White House.........we just dont believe a bloody word they say!
