So true.  So typical of these cowardly runts.

That's why I have a baseball bat in my car.

Walther PPK .380....more effective in an emergency.  Just keep it, and a filled spare mag concealed.

Wow, you're clearly in need of an eye test mate.

Look at the video again CLOSELY this time, and you will see initially 2 younger men attacking the 1 older one - both swinging - a 3rd one enters from off camera ready to assist SHOULD the older fella have kept fighting back, seeing him pole-axed on the floor and unable to fight back they leave it alone. What part of that scenario seems equitable to you? ????

Where do you see both swinging ? Again stop imagining who or what 3rd was or was not going to do.

He doesn't attack first, he's on the back foot trying to get away. He flings his hands but it's nowhere near the guy. There are THREE after him, your constant apologist for all things Thai including the fascist government is truly sickening .

TBF this sort of defence doesn't surprise me, there were people on here defending the Thais beating two old people in Hua Hin a few years ago too.

I see it as a punch and that he did not connect does not matter that is what initiated it, after that miss he gets 1 blow back and that is it.. they both fall over. Sorry I see no murder here. I see (maybe) self defense (if he really went out without paying then sure). I see a fight gone wrong were both parties are to blame.

In the Daily Mail article. It's rather disturbing. Perhaps it's been blocked where you are and possibly censored in the Land of Smiles.

You see the victim knocked to the ground in the street having been followed by his assailant. It's well away from the Mandarin's entrance.

He receives one blow to the head, what with we can't see but it was a strange kind of 'punch'. It incapacitates him and he immediately goes down. And there he stays, apparently unconscious.

I'm surprised the locals didn't start using his head as a football. Perhaps they knew enough of a liberty had already been taken with him by his attacker.

Yes.  When one is blind drunk it does not take much to go down. Of course you can argue he was not as according to OP he poped into walking street go go bar after work function , I wonder though what working functions are there in Pattaya , late evening in/around Walking street.

There was obviously footage before hand that the CCTV missed

It was a defensive 'punch' if anything to try and get away

One thing to add is why were they chasing and beating him?

An unpaid bill?

Well they never got that money anyway so the point was always just to beat him senseless.

They never tried to get the money back

Oh you mean confronting someone and making him pay does not work. It does.. but not if the other party starts a swing. You don't know what is said you just imagine the worst possible reasons bit racist actually. But then again a lot guys here seem to think Thais are always wrong.

Indeed, I usually take a swing at someone when aim is to get away????

It was a punch before all others flew.. so it was the first punch... how can that be defensive.. unless you think attack is the best defense.

Yes its a good way of de escalating things (yes i saw your sarcasm) and agree taking a swing is not getting away.. getting away is going in the opposite way maybe even running.

Honestly mate, book that eye test ok, post-haste.

Both swang one missed and the other made a clumsy connection. 3rd came running up behind right after the inital affray - clearly to assist, doesn't take much of an immaginaton to see that was the aim.

Honestly , consider upgrading from budget to premium specs . There is no 2 swinging and you have ZERO clue who or what 3rd one was or his intentions

Happened about 10 years ago in my own home town in the UK.

Well I've never heard of a fifty odd year old man being attacked by bouncers and left knocked spark out in my home town.

And my home town is London which I bet is is a great deal bigger and more violent than your home town.

have had my bill padded twice in Thailand, first time in a gogo, allowed the bouncer, half my size to escort me to a nearby ATM and paid the bill. Second time, in a beer bar, I just paid up and walked, never to return.

How does this "padding" occur when each time you order a beer they put a slip of paper with the amount in a cup.  Look at the paper and see what the price is, if not as advertised, don't drink the beer, call over hostess or talk to bar manager.

The guy is a contrarian little ***** - leave him to his BS and justifying of thuggery / assault, he clearly has a hard on for these Thai bouncers. Probably speaks of his experiences in Thailand. ????

I would love to see his reaction if it were a member of his family in this video.

Ohh I see, so it’s not actually what happened that matters but how it makes you feel if it was a family member ?????????

And let me ask u one more thing: what did the other guests or witnesses do? U know u can make a citizen's arrest even in Thailand? A bunch of foreigners with the same mind could have handed over the trio to the police to make a statement.

What video did you watch. The guy swung a haymaker at the bouncer. Didn't connect because he was drunk. If he had connected, he could have done serious damage to the Thai.

I don't remember anyone defending the Thai who kicked an old woman in the head, whilst she was on the floor. Apples and oranges.
