Had an odd scenario with a Fedex driver in Pattaya, he wanted a little less than 260 baht but I couldn't give him 3 100s because he had no change. Neither did any surrounding Thais. Driver couldn't take any cards as payment. I had to hunt down someone with change to complete the signing. First delivery in 5 years that truly felt 3rd world.

 

Is this typical with Fedex or are all the delivery companies like this when you have to pay?

A lot of drivers are like this when they think the foreigner will let them keep the change.

Tell them to deliver tomorrow when you will have the correct amount.

Whenever I buy something that is been delivered C.O.D.

I always make sure I have the correct money put aside

ready to pay the driver,it's not difficult
