Root Canal in Ubon Ratchathani.

Featured Replies

My Dentist has quoted me almost £600 for a root canal and other cosmetic work on my teeth, I am flying to Ubon in January, obviously it will be a lot cheaper in Ubon than in the UK, would you get your teeth sorted in Thailand to save a few bob?.

I will be using these guys in Ubon Ratchathani, anyone used them before?

I am pretty sure they can do they job ok. Yes, I would and are using dentists in Thailand. They are actually keeping a high standard and quality in their work, and as you say, most are cheaper. However, I do not know about this one, and there will always be a big difference in quality form one clinic to another, as everything else in Thailand.

I have used Dental Waraporn, and that one I can stand behind and recommend.

A root canal would normally mean one cost for that, another for post to make stronger (most often needed) and then a crown.  Suspect you will not be saving much having it done here if your 600 is a total price.

Yes it depends on if that 600 pounds is the root canal only. If so, it's much cheaper in Thailand. I have a root canal+post+50% gold crown for about 30K baht (20K total for root canal+post+crown with no gold content). This was a private clinic, and prices vary across clinics and also the quality of the material used for the crown. It can take several visits for the work to be done, so thats another factor.
