Health Insurance, NOT visa related

Featured Replies

In a kind of pickle and looking to get some opinions.

I am actually pretty knowledgeable about health insurance but having tough time making a decision.

Now i have an inpatient policy with April International, good cover, no problems with claims.

Only downside is the price, which for my age is 1700 euro/year so almost 60 000 baht

Have come across policies from Krungthai AXA, which is actually not bad at all, 10 000 000 per year, includes accidents and outpatient and about 30% cheaper. Cut off age 85 years old(i do not believe i will make it that age)

Am fully aware, International companies are regulated by EU laws so can lodge complaints with the Ombudsman, Krungthai AXA is Thai and regulated by Thai laws.

Saying that, i do not have anything to hide, no pre existing conditions and no history of being consulted or treated for any.

Anyone have any experience with Krungthai AXA? 20 000 per year savings is not a small chunk of money, plus OPD and dental and accident, sounds really attractive.
