It's raining here too. Just been out the shut the gate. Enough to stop a game of cricket; just. Very disappointing.

But has yours been officially declared fake by the TMD ?, if not I don't believe you and you could be done under several laws as I know you are fully aware, computer crime for one, Thailand's mighty anti fake news department for another, boy are you in trouble ????????

TBH GT, I don't even know what TMD is.

As for being 'done' under several laws; a bit like supporting Manchester United, if you like blue (sorry TBL). Or having a cat thrown at you because you liked the colour of the hat some lady was wearing. And! Talking of hats; I'll get along to the 'Natural Health' shop this afternoon to see what's on offer.

Anyway! I've measured the rain in the last week and it's just a couple of mms. Too little to be of any real use.

Sorry Owl, Thai Meteorological Department.

Anyway, I had a nice surprise when I checked the footy scores earlier, well done my Fulham ????

Listened to the commentary for the first half. Very well deserved.

Liverpool are in a very poor run of form. Only Saints, Geordies and Brom have taken less points from their last 10 games.

Well done Fulham.

Well back again after a short technical difficulty here's the second fake rain photo I tried to post before being rudely interrupted.

And the bed is all but finished. The mattress should fill most of the emptiness at the foot of the bed.I might make some new feet for it as the current ones lack proportion. It's as strong as a Ox which is fitting as it was completed in the year of the Ox by someone born in the year of the Ox, which might be why the build took so long.

Spoke to bluesofa a while back. He is in good voice, though obviously concerned with his predicament.

He is in Udon Thani hospital. Think they are waiting for x-rays, before deciding what to do.

If al all possible, I'll try to  get long to see him on Saturday.

Don't forget to take a phone charger!I've just sent a PM reminding him to not go out without one.Where does he live?

I'm sure his lady will take him a charger. But I'll check Saturday morning, before setting off.

He lives just off the Udon ring road. So not far from the hospital.

Bluesofa is doing OK. Strapped to a stiff bamboo at the mo.

He is being well looked after and although his cycle is damaged the upside is that he can now carry it about in a suitcase.

He is in good spirits, and I hope to see him this w/e. Will report.

So they have strapped bamboo to his stiff? Was his member bent? Was his member that badly damaged?Or are they trying to straighten the bamboo?I'm slightly confused,Ok very confused.Who smuggled in the spirits?Oh I get it his partner brought in some amulets and good spirits to rid him of the bad spirits not some Johnny Walker!

Sounds like he's lucky they're not carrying him around in a suitcase.

Any way drive carefully Mr Owl and I look forward to the report.

I like this new version of TV only had 1 or 2 error messages none of which were error 522.

Been a bit under the weather this last week. Bad belly, pains in face, sniffles and sore right eye. All I can put it down to was that on Monday afternoon Mrs Owl sprayed the house with mozzie killer. I didn't know and got a couple of lung-fulls after bring Mildred home from school. Think that set me off. But OK now.

Gonna see bluesofa tomorrow. He is home, but in a bamboo cage. His lady will keep it locked for sure!

Weather getting normalised. March still catching up on itself. Only one fan on in the bedroom at the mo. Last March had two on the go at night for most of the month.

To day watched Sonia Poulton interview with Sue Noman (Stuart Lubbock's ex-wife). Heart wrenching! 20 years ago this month.

Bye y'all

The Dunblane massacre took place at Dunblane Primary School near Stirling, Scotland, United Kingdom, on 13 March 1996, when Thomas Hamilton shot sixteen pupils and one teacher dead, and injured fifteen others, before killing himself.

RIP All.

We've had a flu sweep through our house over the last 3 weeks Mr Owl so you might be getting the same bug.

This is just by way of an experiment to see if I can upload a photo-which I have been unable to do over the past week.

It is the end of a very wet summer and things are looking remarkably green..almost "Englishy"-like something out of 'The Shire'????

My regards to Bluesofa.

Many thanks for that info..

I am glad that he has made it home....at the risk of sounding like a prig I found that the Thai driver's propensity to smash into everything in sight on the roads was alarming indeed.

It was the one thing that I truly disliked about Thailand.

Owl Log - 15-03-2021 - Monday afternoon

Got to see bluesofa yesterday. Spent a couple of hours in his delightful company. Seems as though he could make a complete recovery. In a body-brace at the mo' so as to minimise stress on the damaged spine. I think the biggest problem is him being able to get comfortable with his limited torso movement. Although his back didn't stop him cracking funnies and laughing. He will soon be back with his enjoyable posts.

Went past buddha bunny at the w/e. Nothing had changed but just a bit further along the red buddha compound saw great activity.

I'd seen enough. I much prefer mature ladies doing these dances. Maybe this particular one was for a man only? But! Hey! What do I know about this stuff?

Found a lovely old cart looking for an engine. A Kabota will do nicely.

1040680227_CARTWTHOUTENGINE.png.1f88266c1259a7f683cbed8920bb1ef9.png

Went a different way home from visiting bluesofa, and found an unusual round-a-bout.

326291085_newroundabout01.png.818d2b2827220c296844be131e1a79ff.png

Just a tin can in the middle of the road.

1241071045_newroundabout03.png.e1d1abb42e7fa025af474532b3003a0f.png

There must have been an accident there in the not too distant past. Gonna be something more permanent soon. I'll take a look in a few months time.

It was the anniversary of the guy who lived next to us in the village. His two sons put on a fire-show for the village after dark

SN851221.AVI

Couldn't see the vid, so posted a snap-shot of the show.

553979554_fireshow.png.d315c20225437d83ee9994478e3f848b.png

Charkie is eating much better. She will not last forever and her passing will be very sad for me and Mildred. Let's hope she has a few good years left.

204350456_charkie01.png.a29aba2bd7671a8ef188fef801d33b32.png

She has out-lived all but one of her kittens. And Jack has not been seen for some time. He was the one that was forever bringing smallish snakes to the house.

Have another three avocado nuts to sort out. The one that was doing well initially has come to a complete stop.

864120217_avonotgrow02.png.6b6eba0ed7de5716ff5bf15f2e8b6d99.png

That's nature for ya!

1785220469_avonotgrow01.thumb.png.c97fe1641256e72cd2bd9b809b214583.png

Mrs Owl doesn't share my love for nature's wonders. I have to constantly keep an eye out for those little 'accidents'.

"Teerak, dear, what happened to all the water in the nut pot?"

"Not know. Why you ask? Maybe chicken!"

I'm not green-fingered in any way. Don't talk to the plants like Charles. But if there is a problem with one, it will keep me awake at night with concern. Could she be jealous of the attention they get from me?

Didn't go to town since last Monday due to being sick. Much better now. Gonna pick Mildred up this afternoon. Must remember to get some cat food too.

Not seen the hat lady since she texted me.  Might pass by her shop on the way to the school.

The Irons lost another game to a Manchester side. Very sad. But not as sad as the 'O's who must realise they are not going to get promoted this season. They need me back, cheering them on from the cinder end. It only seems like yesterday that we were smashing the likes of Man U, WHU and Everton 0-3 away (the winners that year 62/63).

What about that debacle with the police on Clapham Common? Seen lots of vid footage. Didn't look good. Heads could roll.

Asked rat-man Seng*, next door, if I could get an update on his rat community. "No problem." So next Owl Log for that.

Just about to get a bite to eat and it's off to the farm. I'll leave the farm about 16-30 to get Mildred.

Bye y'all

* One of the two brothers in the fire vid'.
