I am applying to bring my Fiancee to the US and am just realizing how daunting/time consuming the process is.

I am about to file the I-129F and the G-325As. I noticed that the service center is just now processing the I-129F's from September of 2006. =(

Is there any way to expedite the process? No one is dying, I don't think she's pregnant, etc. Would having a Congressman or someone like that write a letter asking my case to be expedited help? Any other thoughts?

I've never applied for this before but think I have all the information I need to submit the first documents and begin the process. I realize this has probably been covered ad nauseum but any tips, advice and counsel anyone is willing to offer would be GREATLY appreciated.
