I have just been offered a health policy with Pacific Cross under the Thaivisa Health Protect brand.

Bronze policy. 68 years old.

Had to have a medical.

20,000 Baht deductible. No Outpatient cover.

Premium is 45,582 Baht a year.

I thought you had to have out-patient cover as well as inpatient cover, if your talking O/A visa ?

 

This has limited cover and your good for 15 days in intensive care or 45 days normal care.

 

Very basic in my opinion, but it all depends what you want, I personally would be looking for more cover than that, because the 200,000 surgeon's fee cover here and there isn't much if you had a big one, but I suppose cover is better than no cover and we all have budgets.

 

I insured with David Shield for 1.2 mil USD for around an extra 10,000 baht, but am 59.
