"Thai Wife"

No need for an extension to "support thai wife". That reason sounds more like financial support than staying with a thai wife.

Related follow up question, if I'm applying for a Non-O based on marriage for the first time how many days do I write I'm requesting, 90 or 365? Thanks

I don't think a TM86 or TM87 form has a space for the length of stay since a non immigrant visa only allows a 90 day entry.

Or are you writing about a extension of stay based upon marriage and completing a TM7 form. For that application it would be 365 days.

Yeah, I meant the TM7, thanks. You raised another issue I hadn't thought about though.

IF my IO allow me to apply for the non-O (from tourist visa then amnesty), will I have to go through the TM86 first and then the TM7? Is the TM86 the reason the alien has to go to immigration 2 weeks before their POS expires?

And when applying for the TM86 do you need to show all docs for the "visa" you want to change to (Non-O)?

You have to have 15 days remaining on your permit to stay to apply for the visa.

Requirements are here. https://bangkokimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/06-edit_NON-O.pdf

You need most of the same required documents to apply for a non immigrant visa that are needed for the extension of stay based upon marriage. For the visa the 400k baht only has to be in the bank on the day you apply.

Quick question if I may.

My annual non-O extension (support Thai wife) expires 14 Oct 2020. CURRENTLY what is the earliest date I can go and submit my renewal application?

30 days at some locations - 45 days at others (including Bangkok).
