It doesn't look like it's designed for vehicles, and judging by the surrounding terrain, I'd venture that only drivers of 4 x 4s might be tempted to try their luck (foolishly) as OP seems to imply.

It had bollards up at either end the last time I was there - unless they've been removed I can't see how vehicles would be able to cross it.
