Another “moving the goal post” tactic. All too common with the Reps running on empty.

Reps complained that there is no house vote and Pelosi now announced the vote they’d demanded. Then they demand that the inquiry to be public. They got that. The goal post was move against when they complained that Trump didn’t have the chance to defend. They invited him for the impeachment hearing and he declined.

Will this end with the whistle blower? Judging from those ridiculous and endless goal post moving, most likely not.

According to Dem Al Green, this will never end until the Republicans have a majority.  The Dems will impeach Trump again and again he said.

They wouldn't need to if Trump would stop providing so much reason to do so.

Exactly.

If he would only quit being in office, they would no longer have a reason to impeach him.

I think it safe to say when that happens the’ll move ahead with impeaching Pence...

Well if he followed the constitution there wouldnt be an issue.

Tbis would have been over in an hour if trump allowed evidence on his behalf.

Only trump to blame.

He was a criminal from the first day of his presidency. That it took this long shows remarkable restraint to hold back until it rose to this level.

Not before that?

Or did it not matter that he was a criminal back when he was donating to Democrats?

Restraint indeed...

The fact that SO many millions of mean-spirited voters put him in office should be a wake up call. Again and again Trump did things that would have had ANY other candidate disqualified, let alone win the primary then the general election. There is still a vein of folks who, while they haven't actually hanged anyone, were happy to sell the rope then look the other way.

Mean spirited to vote against Hillary Clinton? Surely you must be joking.

Y'know, I get that. I couldn't vote for either. She was easily as bad, but at least she knew how the game was played. Trump would have been a better choice if he would just TRY to draw inside very specific lines at least SOME of the time, particularly when his advisers tell him again and again. They can't believe Rudy is STILL in the Ukraine doing stupid things.

Not a single Trump critic has said Biden is innocent. I've personally said hang them all if they're guilty. What Trump supporters do is bring this in as a deflection in defense of Trump. Whether or not the Bidens did anything wrong has nothing to do with Trump's criminality.

Whether or not the Bidens did anything wrong has everything to do with it.

If Trump had information regarding Biden corruption then not only was he within his rights to ask for assistance but bound by his duty as well.  Follow the link:

https://www.state.gov/12978

The fact that Biden decided to run for President does not absolve him from investigation into criminal misconduct.  The entire liberal argument is that since Biden was now running for President against Trump then Trump was then not allowed to investigate Biden even if it was warranted.  That is flat out false.

Liberals then argued that Biden corruption was a conspiracy theory.  That the theory was debunked.  As we can now see given the continuous daily flow of new information surrounding the Biden's pay for play then the liberal conspiracy theory charge is what is debunked.

The entire impeachment is based on the claim by Democrats and liberals that Trump tried to kick start an investigation into Biden solely because Biden was Trump's feared (LOL) political opponent.  Just like liberals never thought Hillary would lose, they never thought that the truth was opposite what they believed.

Remember, too, that Giuliano began his investigation well before Biden threw his hat into the ring, which also debunks the idea that Trump's request was due solely to harm a political opponent.

But libs will forever believe that the fantasy version is the real version of the truth, just like they can never get over the truth of Hillary's loss.  So sad.

Excellent assessment.

There are anti trumpers here who are trotting out the fake news narrative that Barr is dissatisfied with the IG's Report...there's no end to the dishonest means they will use to justify impeachment.

The pain is coming for Dems.

I posted this on another thread this morning.  What comes next is a concerted effort by the Dems and libs and the MSM propaganda machine to completely smear Barr and Durham.  That's their typical strategy when they have nothing else.  It is effective among liberals, though.  They'll pick up the talking point and run with it until they no longer can.  Witnessing it over and over again makes me feel like I'm Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

Wrong on many levels. But not surprising.

Trump has avenues to imvestigate biden. He chose the wrong one.

He didnt even want him investigated, just that ukraine announce it. Why is that.

Wrong on many levels?  O.K., what else is wrong?

There is no law prohibiting the President of the United States from personally requesting anti-corruption assistance from the Ukraine.  I posted the treaty.

Libs keep claiming that Trump was not allowed to do that.  Flat out wrong.  Unless you can point to the legal statute that prohibits the President from doing so.  Can you?  If not, then don't make false claims.

By having Zelensky make a public announcement it would help to ensure (not guarantee) that he would not so easily squelch on a verbal promise.  When in business you use signed contracts.  Only a fool would do business by a handshake or strictly on a verbal agreement these days.

Given that the IG Report makes clear these three damning points, among others...

1) FBI heavily abused the FISA process. Presented false info and withheld exculpatory info from the court.

2) FBI used 'defensive briefings' to investigate Trump campaign officials

3) FBI relied on knowingly dubious sources for anti-Trump information

The entire investigation aka charade into the Trump campaign that began should now be treated as VOID AB INITIO

and immediately scrapped.

There need to be criminal indictments for rogue FBI personnel who started this crazy witch hunt/coup.

Wait for Durham to sing though.

I am also reading that none other than Ruth Bader Ginsburg has temporarily blocked release of Trumps financial records to Congress...let that sink in.....RBG, the heroine of the liberals has done this....because she does not want to be included in the crooked cabal that bent the law and worse, abused it for their own political ends.

Momentous events indeed.

Impeachment is DEAD in the house...folks!

I think it would take more than that to end the charade now. They have gone too far to turn back, but IMO let the circus begin, so the good people of the USA can see what the Dems are really up to.

Once the GOP can call their witnesses things will change, dramatically.

Nothing to fear.

Surely all Trump's Republicans have to say, at the end of the Democrat evidence, is "not proven". Who says they have to call any evidence at all in rebuttal?
