Dual SIM cell phone

Hi all,

 

I’ve got a Xiaomi phone but (at least) one Canadian phone company - Freedom mobile - doesn’t / can’t recognize it.

 

What phone can I get in Pattaya that would pass muster? I use my iPad for all it can offer, I just need a cell phone for calls and sms.

You'll need one with the right bands used by the Canadian network. If it's a basic Xiaomi phone, then it likely won't have all the right bands. Some models of higher end Xiaomi phones have both dual SIM and multi bands.
