Popular Post webfact
5G to improve quality of life: Deputy PM By THE NATION Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan The adoption of 5G wireless broadband technology will bring social and economic benefit to Thailand, Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan said on Wednesday (December 18). Prawit was presiding over the event “5G The New BEGINNING to change Thailand's economic landscape”, co-hosted by Krungthep Turakit newspaper, The Nation, Thansettakij newspaper, Kom Chad Leuk newspaper, and Khao Hoon newspaper. He added that the 5G technology would help bridge the income gap and widen people's accessibility to information and education as well as healthcare services. All these will lead to the improvement of people's living quality. The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission plans to hold a multiple spectrum band auction in February next year. He added that the government is aware of the challenges that telecom operators will face in planning the investment in the 5G network and service. How will it give more accessibility to healthcare? How do people in the audience manage to sit still and listen to this bowling ball headed fool spout rubbish about a topic he doesn't even understand. keith101
5G does not have a long range signal unlike 2.4G which has been borne out by having a dual band fibre router in my house . When the 5G disappeared from the router my wife had what she called fast internet but after me complaining to our provider (3BB) and getting a new router we now had 5G but no 2.4G and she said the speed was now very slow and not work sometimes (I speed checked and was only getting at most 20 mbps on a 300/300 mbps plan only 20 metres away , luckily now the 2.4g has come back on and she is happy again but my ethernet connection is now only getting 100 mbps so once our contract has expired I am going to change provider .

"widen people's accessibility to information and education" Two of the things the government and elite have successfully restricted from the general population for hundreds of years. Baffles me as to why Ol' Fatty would even mention it, apart from it sounding good and probably being on the auto-prompter. 5

Popular Post Edwin Cameron
I'm afraid he doesn't know what he's talking about. 5G is toxic to your health, I went to a seminar 2 weeks ago here in Australia and was shocked at all the bad health implications that are emitted from those nasty towers that are dotting our landscape more and more. Someone should tell Prawit a closed mouth gathers no foot..! 5 1

Popular Post billd766
What he fails to mention is that you need a 5G network close to you, you will probably need to replace your mobile, that a 5G network in rural Thailand is years away. The internet fibre trunk line network in country will need to be greatly expanded, and of course the internet gateways to the outside world will need to be upgraded, with a possibility of needing extra undersea cables. In the meantime farmer Somchai out on his rice paddies won.t notice the difference. 5

I often think that and wonder why no journalists asks questions, or whether these fools don't make time for journalists, or make it clear what they can and can't ask. The irony of Prayut encouraging people to read Orwells "Animal Farm" was not lost on me. “Comrades!' he cried. 'You do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a pig. We pigs are brainworkers. The whole management and organisation of this farm depend on us. Day and night we are watching over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink the milk and eat those apples.” ― George Orwell, Animal Farm

Will having a 5G network make an issan rice farmer rich? Why couldn't 2G, 3G, or 4G do this? Does 5G connect to the 1% bank accounts and automatically transfer funds? All this talk about 5G saving the world. Let's face it, all it will do is allow people to upload and download p0rn faster.
unamazedloso
what a load of bs! From what i read it only benefits government and military with little help for normal people and the health risks associated could be catastrophic. Anyone seen the hazmat suits used to install 5g towers? Wouldnt need them if it were safe right? Im already streaming 4k movies from finn mobile to my tv, netflix is fine and anything faster doesnt seem necessary like 8k tb dorsnt seem necessary. People should take a gander at the docs on this 5g on youtube. Interesting stuff! Good chance its for spying more than anything and if its coming from china from huawei im moving out! I had a huawei phone and it was the best until i actualy thought about it and realized i would lose google and all associated with it and put my info at the mercy of the chinese. No thanks...

While you’re correct, the 5G cell network also isn’t long range. It’s very short. There are videos on YouTube about this and cities with “5G” only having 5G within the distance of a few buildings in the entire city. Amazing tech but there’s still a ways to go for a good rollout around the world. It will be limited for a while. Perhaps in Thailand a particular mall will have it or shopping area. It’s not going to be country wide or even city wide for a while. Edited December 18, 2019 by dcnx

IF and it is a big IF Huawei build a 5G network do you really think that they will care about the people like you and I? The Chinese are desperately disappointed that they can't learn what films he's downloading. That was essential information for them.
