Pattaya Countdown: DJ-set at beach?

The highlight of the Pattaya Countdown was for me always the — Chang sponsored — DJ-set with a kind of "mobile bar" at the

beach across from Central Festival. ????

 

I don't know why, but unfortunately this great and well visited event disappeared in 2017 and was missed in 2018 also.  ????

Does anyone know if the Chang DJ-set this year take place again? 

I ask because it would be the only reason for me to make my way through traffic chaos to Beach Road on Countdown.

No chaos on the 31st, as the plan is to close off Beach Road to traffic.

 

Have seen nothing advertised for DJ sets this year.

 

But there is bands playing at Bali Hai, Central Festival and Central Marina.

Looks like I'm going to celebrate away from the city, because these Thai live bands are definitely not my cup of tea.

They all seem to vanish if I recall correctly, as they enjoy the festivities themselves. To reappear later. It can be hard to get a ride.

I believe Lam Morrison is at Loma / North Pattaya Night Bazzar. His name adorns a big banner on site, but I have not read it in detail. Maybe someone else can confirm or deny.

Why not taking a motorbike-Taxi? 
Cost me only 100 Baht to get home at 02:30 (from city to the market at Soi Siam Country Club in east Pattaya).
