Does anyone know whether there are minivans running between the two towns?

 

I've taken the provincial bus before and it wasn't a whole load of fun - hot, cramped and slow.

 

I've got the leg to Mae Sai covered so really it's the trip back to Chiang Rai I'm concerned with.

 

Any information greatly appreciated.

 

Just realised this may be better suited to the 'Mae Sai/Tachilek Border Info' thread above, not sure.

Maybe one of the guest houses or travel agents have a regular run.

mini vans depart when full from maessai bus station , 50 baht and goes to CR bus station
