Isn't it funny how before hating rich people was the thing. Now that their only Hail Mary pass might be a rich, white, racist, woman hater who denigrates farmers and workers they gleefully point out he is a bigger billionaire?

The dems have basically conceded it is okay to buy the election now. That's fine by me as it won't work anyway. However do they have no shame?

It's going to be fun watching Bernie pound the podium about this. I hope they have a plan for when the Bernie supporters abandon the party after being bent over. One more time for the circular firing squad to do its job.

Sorry, but when you chose to support Trump, you abdicated the right to discuss the concept of shame.

Actually, you're right for once. The last thing this country needs is another narcissistic, condescending New York City billionaire.

One thing I do know is this, as regards Bloomberg's contempt for farmers and working people: When things are falling apart and the US dollar has lost its status as the reserve currency because of Trump's deficits and monetizing the debt, bringing about hyperinflation, the person I would rather have with me is a farmer. Not some NYC money shuffler or another NYC real estate fraud who is in and out of bankruptcy and ready to leave everyone else holding the bag.

Bloomberg is not even a Democrate!

Literally a few months ago, he was still a Republicna, his "Stop & Frisk"- policy is absolute racist and he stole all his talking points from Sanders and Warren!

How anyone can actually consider voting for this fraud, is absolutely beyond me!

He may be on a higher intellectual level than Trump, but he has so much baggage, Trump will absolutely destroy him!

I have no idea, why the Denocrat Party does not understand this!

not electable, thats way too much white privilege

And Trump somehow does not fall into the same category in terms of privilege? Certainly not in terms of smarts, or success. Bloomberg did not inherit his money. He made it. I think Americans in general, really admire a self made person. Trump could have made more than he did, if he had just put his money into the stock market.

most would take my comment in a lighthearted way since it plays on political correctness.    allegedly part of white privilege is an unfair advantage being white regardless of how the money was made.

really, one need not be einstein to understand the concept

Sanders is also not really a democrat. A non-issue.

He is a Democrat socialist. He is not advocating authoritarian socialism like Venezuela. I will give him a pass.

How can you have a 'Commander in Chief' that has never served in the forces

Yes, too bad he is not a war hero like Obama & Clinton.

Two well known draft dodgers ... not.

Well I'm fine with both Sanders and Bloomberg running for president. Both have histories of NOT affiliating with the democratic party. That's all I was saying, You added the Venezuela angle which wasn't what I was talking about there.

BTW, Bloomberg reregistered as a democrat in 2018. That's not exactly a few months ago. Yes it is no secret that Bloomberg has in the past been a democrat, a republican, and independent for various motivations that people are free to examine and make judgements about. He's just a candidate for now. Have at him and everyone else.

Trump is really going after Bloomy now. Go Little Mike, go! I predicted this months ago, and saw this coming. He will win the election. He will humiliate Don Donald. Bloomberg is third in FiveThirtyEight’s national poll of Democratic candidates with 15.4%, trailing only Sanders (22.7%) and former vice president Joe Biden (16.8%). He is the only viable candidate. The only one with real substance and experience and the money to back him up. Spent $417 million of his money to date. Went from nowhere to over 15%!

If you make a comparison, Bloomberg beats Trump on a dozen levels. Character, intelligence, experience, honor. Compare a man who inherited a fortune, and built it into to a decent fortune, with over $700 million in debt, five bankruptcies, and five deferments from service, when it came time to show his patriotism. Compare him to a man who is 20 times wealthier, and came from a modest background. His dad was a bookkeeper, and his mom a secretary. He is self made. And he made his money honestly, not by hustling Russian gangsters, and beating small folk out of their contracts, driving many out of business, and stealing thousands of deposits on condos that never got built, from hard working folks, plus stealing tuition from people, for a bogus education from a criminal enterprise online school. Plus Trump was charged for running a bogus foundation, and ordered to pay millions, as it was not legit, and never gave away any money. He is perhaps the cheapest, and least generous billionaire in the US. "Little Mike" on the other hand has shown what a big man he is, by joining the giving pledge, and already donating over $8.2 billion! He absolutely dwarfs Trump on nearly every level, except perhaps physical height. He more than makes up for that with his intellect, his experience, and his ability to negotiate a real deal.

So what if he has a few controversies behind him, and has said some inane things in the past. If you study Trump, you will find his past to be far darker, and to possess an infinitely higher level of skeletons in the closet, and he got elected anyway! Not this time. Say goodbye to Don Donald.

Quite obviously 45 most wants to run against Bernie because he can red bait him and is most afraid of Bloomberg because Bloomberg has his number.

I really can't see Bloomberg being in the race. That being said; I also don't think the Dems want to see Bernie there either.  I would be surprised if Mikey could garner the requisite delegates, even if he does buy his way into the debates. In a debate with Trump it would boil down to a "he said.... He said"  argument. At any rate, this election cycle is and will be epic.

He's in the race. That's a fact. Whether he is nominated or not is the question.

I guess I should clarify... I really don't see Mikey finishing the race.

He is running on a platform of democratic socialism and other than Bloomberg, he has always been consitent on that!

We were talking about party membership not ideology. Bernie and Bloomberg are both now running for the Democratic party nomination. People don't really care who the democratic socialist party nominates of anyone.

Donald the laziest president in American history

"Trump takes a limousine lap" huh?

Did he lap the entire the limo or did they have to send a car for him half way around?

When downsizing years back I'd traveled around and looked at a house where supposedly the original NASCAR papers were first signed. I can understand Trump finding friends there though I found it a bit ratty. High crime, lots of sex offenders. Nice beach though if you like cars parked on it. Actually the beach is pretty excellent for walking because the sand is flat and packed and the water rises shallow. So you can walk for miles with just the bottoms of your feet skimming the water.

The place has potential but it'll take another 20 years for it to clean up or just wait out the sea to rise. Mid Florida is becoming a megalopolis, one of the fastest growing areas of the country. Most of that is now generated Tampa to Orlando, but that will stretch down to Sarasota and points south and up the east coast to Daytona and then to Jax. You can see in this night pic how the development is currently crossing the state

Just looked up some stats on NASCAR. Seems the sport of self proclaimed kings has seen better days.

...on the Fox networks... losing TV viewers. It is having trouble filling the stands, even after losing tens of thousands of seats from its stadiums. Perhaps most worrisome of all, it is losing sponsors, and those that remain are paying less than they used to.

Daytona is one of my most favorite places in the entire world, although it has gone downhill in the last 40 years.  Mac's Famous Bar was the best. Used to be that you could drive for 23 miles straight down the beach. Now you can only drive a few hundred meters and then must get off. In addition you gotta pay a toll each time you return to the beach. Progress??  Not really. I think Potus touring the track in the beast was primo, great to see.   Sad to see Newman seriously injured.
