Medical aid for foreigners

Featured Replies

Hi guys

I'd like to know what medical insurance plans you guys use. Also do I need any paperwork to join a medical aid in Thailand? Like work permits etc.

I live in China at the moment but I often travel to Thailand. In China getting medical insurance is not so easy.

Thanks

Try one of the many internationally based policies - Cigna, April International, Allianz, Aetna (Bupa), David Shield etc. Presume most would cover you in China and dependent on how many days you spend in Thailand here also.

As a Yank, I have never heard the expression "medical aid" to mean insurance.

Guess again.
