Naaa chomper they can’t do that or admit China shut down it goes against what their chosen ones says it’s the world out to get trump lol

The virus 'deniers' think that all these shutdowns are hysteria not as a result of what this novel pathogen does to an immunologically naive population when it hits. Listening to Trump as their source of information. What the hell has happened to the world I know and love ? One of rationally , scientific  discourse and empathy for your fellow man.

Oh no, now it's a religion like that of the church of climate.

It could be at a very small level, or it could be at a larger level.

Or it could be at a medium level, Trump left that out of his comments. He is such an eloquent speaker.........????

Obviously talking BS, as Trump did, is not going to make people feel safe.

Hmmmm...yeahhh...why do I have a hard time believing anything you say?

I believe what my eyes see.....

"Gavin Newsom issues an astoundingly glowing endorsement of Trump and Pence's handling of coronavirus and cruise ship response. "We had a very long conversation, and every single he said they followed through on."

Gavin Newsom as you may know is dem governor of California and a sworn enemy of trumps administration.

I won't link the video he makes these comments on as its on twitter...google it yourself.

Lets end the nonsense folks... Trump is showing exemplary leadership. He is not obliged to give

answers to every question from Jim Acosta or CNN...those losers dont matter. What matters

is he's getting things done.

I called out the importance of the virus 6 weeks ago , I called the stock market crash two weeks ago , I call the downfall of Trump in the next 3 months.

The bottom line is that like so much of what is happening in America right now, the coronavirus crisis isn’t just about Trump. His intellectual and emotional inadequacy, his combination of megalomania and insecurity, are certainly contributing to the problem; has there ever been a president so obviously not up to the job? But in refusing to face uncomfortable facts, in attributing all bad news to sinister conspiracies, he’s actually just being a normal man of his faction.

In 2020 we’re relearning the lessons of 2008 — namely, that America’s right-wingers can’t handle the truth.

National Guard called out in New York.

“This is the single greatest public health challenge we have in the state right now,” the governor said at a news conference.

He described the number of cases as going up “unabated”, as he outlined the special strategy for New Rochelle aimed at stopping the geographic spread of the virus.

Interesting article.  You can't punch/counterpunch a virus or call it schoolyard names.  Downplaying a serious situation is not good leadership you face it and work solutions. My family lives in America and they are concerned about COVID-19, they want a leader who is doing something right. At this moment they really don't care about the economy or elections, they want legimate action not campaigning.  Getting things done is not exemplarary leadership when you don't take care of your people.

Depending on how things play out in the months ahead, there could be a delicious irony unfolding....

The Russians helped put Trump in as president of the U.S.

But it may be the Chinese who end up effectively helping kick him out!

The leaderless rabble will huff and puff and talk about insurrection with their Dixie flags and hog roast conflabs  but once the constitution has righted the boat once again the brave army and forces of the US of A will do their duty and preserve the Union. Oh and the markets will roar back to life once this cloud has passed.

Time for the night of the long knife and to do a 25er on him and soonest. Trump is the single biggest impediment to handling this crisis.

So we have a POTUS who:

- stupidly previously eliminated the entire global health security unit of the NSC and the complex crisis fund (while the second Ebola epidemy was spreading)

- systematically tried to downplay the potential importance of this disease and the associated risks, because he (foolishly) thinks it will prevent the Stock Exchange from sinking,

-  shamelessly argued that he didn't want the benighted cruise liner, the Grand Princess, because it would add to the total of coronavirus cases in the US - when it's not his fault they were on a cruise liner.

- indecently wore a MAGA hat at the CDC and further told more lies (tests are available for everyone)

- stupidly contradicted his VP and health specialists and made dangerous comments, I.e. people can go to work if they are sick

- shamelessly tried to put the blame on Obama.

And you call that "being a leader"? ????

Ok. That's fine for me.

However, and that was my point, he did talk B.S. on several occasions (see my previous post) and that is not going to make people or markets feel safe.

However, if he changes his behaviour from now on and stops talking BS, I can only rejoice. Despite what Trump and his followers claimed so far, I think this is going to be a very acute health crisis. For the good of the American people, I wish he will eventually get things right.

White House health experts wanted to advise old and vulnerable people to avoid commercial flights, but were overruled by Trump, who feared the impact on the economy. Trump even resisted the mild and extremely obvious advice that old people should avoid booking cruises, for fear of the impact to the cruise industry, before eventually relenting. Even sycophantic sources like the Federalist are begging Trump to keep his mouth shut.

Even a Trump cheerleader is trying to voice caution and opening up the demarcation lines for continued support.

Coronavirus might prove the administration’s great crisis, and its leadership will prove crucial in staving off worst-case scenarios or dealing with them when they come. Simply downplaying events and assuring the public everything is under control does not suffice. In addition to swift action to curb infection and shore up the economy, now is the time for Trump and his allies to show the public they are up to the job — and deserve it for the next four years.

Trump has been a grifter all his life. Criminal business has been his family's history back to at least Dawson City, CA where his grandfather run a whorehouse and whatnot. He has an army of lawyers working to defend his decisions. I don't hate him. I feel sorry for him. He's never been a normal human being.
