There Is At Least Some System

Just got my passport out of the safe box since I am flying tomorrow.

Each exit stamp had a number corresponding with the number of days I actually stayed in the country. This makes it easier for them to count the number of days actually stayed, instead of doing the math to find out this.

kind of assuring. Anyway, I am safe enough, nowhere near using my 90/180 yet, and it is more than 6 months since my first entry counting from October 1, heading for the airport in 3 hours. Have a fantastic sonkran folks :-)

You count from your first non visa entry after October 1. So if that was October 28 and you returned to Thailand on April 23 you would receive only the number of days remaining in the six month period from October 28, or about 4 days stay. This is what has happened to those who have reported this week but we really do not know if it is correct procedure. The only safe advise is to obtain a tourist visa if you might be in such a position.

I entered October 1st and only have 45 days since. And if they do the 6 month thing you describe, I should be safe since then I would have been re-set since April 1st. So for me it will probably and most likely just be some rifling trough my passport, a stamp and I will be shure to put on my best smile :-)

There was no problem when I arrived on March 29. It was my 11th trip to Thailand since October 5 and my total days up to that point was 65. They gave me another 25 days, until April 22.
