The Chinese, Russians and Americans are all trying to steal each others secrets every day, by any means fair or foul.  I do not dispute your quote on one incident where it was discovered, but would suggest there are many more where it wasn't.

It's a bit of a stretch to blame any President/Premier/Dictator for some other country's illegal actions against the country they happen to lead at the time.  Especially as some leaders selectively decline to accept responsibility for some things.

I support any effort, even to the point of punitive taxes to bring industry back to the USA, especially pharmaceuticals.

 

One of the reasons that all these critical industries went there in the first place was simple..$$$. The Chinese, with, among other things, low labor costs, vritually no environmental or safety regulations and access to govt cash could make it cheaper.

 

No more. They threatened to withhold medical supplies. Its over for them, the folks arent going to stand for that. Let them make lawn chairs, I want my Tylenol to be made in the USA and Ill pay more if necessary. I want my phone to read made in Thailand. I want the world to guarantee and protect Taiwan because its the nervecenter of the entire world.

 

And I want Trump to keep the pressure on. Maybe he will get some backing from countries who dont want to be chinese satraps. The Chinese need to know the the storm they have unleashed..

Trump is being the antagonist he normally is to China. What did anybody expect? So much wrong here. For one thing, China had the genetic code of the virus by Jan 2. Yet it didn't release it for a week. That info is crucial to creating test kits.
