Yes but the truth of what 45 did and didn't do is available to all that care to learn.

Yes, because we can count on the New York Times to give a full and accurate account of what Trump.... hell, anything about Trump, you can trust them to tell the truth. Said no one. EVER.

The motivation to attend religious ceremonies is higher when there are major events. I guess that if instead of Easter, it would be Aid el Fikr, there would be warnings for Muslims.

In addition, not all areas have a significant numbers of Muslim inhabitants, while there are plenty of Christians e everywhere in the US.

Doesn't matter. Government targeting a specific religion for any reason is unconstitutional. There are still plenty of religions, other than Christian, who attend services.

Plus, as you know, if any American police agency said they were going to get tough on Muslims going to their mosques, there would be screeching from the leftist media at the highest possible volume. Think 12 on a Marshall amp.

Ok, it makes sense.

Here's a graph showing the parallel EU6 group and US. Slopes can be compared because the populations are the same. Case wise there’s little difference except the 6 day offset. You need to zoom, it's from a big screen.rablab.jpg.4a7cf0270f00aa85d6f77a6829c250b6.jpg

The US had its first case on exactly the same day as did S.Korea.

The S. Korean government responded immediately with nation wide, centrally directed policies that worked.

The head of the US Government spent the following 6 weeks, downplaying the risk, waffling about hoaxes, telling lies, playing golf, blaming others and making baseless predictions.

The US President has still not directed a nation wide response.

America and Americans are paying the tragic price of Trump’s inability to do his job.

As Trump has already said: He was misinformed by the WHO....

It's a lie from Trump. You will not be able to provide any quote mentioning the CHINA travel ban to support this debunked claim.

When did truth and reality ever matter to the rabid right?

In case you did not notice, Muslims don't celebrate Easter.....

Why let facts get in the way of a good bit of Muslim bashing

The level of Trump bashing on this forum by its inebriated, ignorant members, makes the majority of these threads quite unreadable. Following TV now solely for the headline articles.

Whatever it is the right don’t like, blame it on the left. Easy way out.

Is it unconstitutional to target specific events?

Trump bashing pales into insignificance compared to Muslim bashing. Ironic that such hatred comes from white bigots living in Asia

Yes its a bit stupid / sensationalism that they don't take into account how huge the population is. Italy has an almost similar amount of deaths  at a far smaller population. Absolute numbers are fun but sometomes percentages tell a lot more.

NY alone has more cases than any country. Slice up and manipulate the numbers all you want,  but you can't avoid that glaring stat.

Ok, they should have formulated it in this way:

" we warn Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and zoophiles not to attend Easter religious services and celebrations"

Yeah. He's such a pathetic powerless victim. We must only sing the stable genius's praises. I find it funny that his fans seem to feed into his toxic narcissism.

No. A Constitutional statement would have been to warn about any religious or social gatherings rather than just target Christians. Obviously, you know this and are being silly. And that is OK. But let's also keep it real, yes?

Yes, when it is done on the basis of religion. Do Muslims, Jews and other religious people attend services on Easter weekend?

In January, Dr. Fauci said coronavirus was of low risk to Americans. Then he announced death projections of 100,000 to 200,000! Now he's announcing death projections of only 60,000. Fauci has changed what he's said about the virus!

See how silly this is getting?

An organization (Trump administration) are only successful when they have a good coaching staff(fauci,CDC) and a game plan!

In the beginning  Fauci and the cdc were using the WHO advice and expertise from a uncooperative and not forth coming(in the beginning) Chinese Gov.Note, the WHO director  was recommending to all countries to continue travel and trade with no restrictions. on January 30

On January 12 the WHO recommended to all countries, no travel restrictions.

Jan 14, no clear evidence, human to human spread

Jan 31,china travel restrictions

Feb 2. Politico reports

"World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said Tuesday that widespread travel bans and restrictions weren’t needed to stop the outbreak and could "have the effect of increasing fear and stigma, with little public health benefit." Union leaders separately called for a coordinated government response and warned authorities against profiling people of Asian descent while addressing the threat".

We're not quite sure yet.” A University of Minnesota expert offered that “this is one of those inflection moments in outbreak history where we have enough information to be very concerned, but not enough information to say this is going to be an international crisis.”

Wait wait! I did not pay attention to it before, but what are the proofs of your claims that Christians have been unfairly targeted. What are your sources? Quotes of official statement? Or is it the usual Trumper's BS?

In January, Dr. Fauci was toeing the line as that was what Trump wanted to hear and there was very little information available. Then, as damage control, Trump forced Fauci and Birx to declare impossibly high figures so that he can claim victory later when there are less deaths. Only a fool or a Trump supporter (or maybe they are one and the same) cannot or will not see this smoke screen.

If people will not wear masks and gloves when they are out in public, shopping, getting

their supplies, and such, the USA and Canada will continue to have new cases spring up, as the masks may not protect the wearers, but those around them.

I do hope people in these two countries get serious, or North America will otherwise have the most deaths in the world, especially in the senior centres, where it already is a completely horrible tragidy.

Geezer
