Uttaradit Governor Thanakorn Ungchitpaisarn on Thursday (April 16) extended the ban on alcohol beverage sales from April 18-30.

Earlier, the ban had been imposed from April 11-17 to contain the spread of Covid-19.

There has been no new confirmed case of infection in the province over the past 20 days. The province has three cases of which one has recovered.

and he brought it in from outside the country, not from within the province.

So, why banning alcohol that has NO covid-19 infections from within province. My beer is running low, so I have a dog in this hunt. ????

Absolutely nothing to do with Songkran then.

It's getting boring with these provinces announcing one by one the extention of the ban on alcohol until the 30th. It will be a nationwide ban in the end as it was for Songkran. This is the time I really start hating people in charge. It's full of ignorant bastards there.
