The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has temporarily cancelled the Bangkok-Den Chai trains No 111 and 112.  Acting SRT Governor Worawut Mala said on Thursday (April 16) that passengers can apply for ticket refund from Thursday.

“SRT received a letter from the Uttaradit provincial administration that they have tightened measures to screen people during the Covid-19 outbreak,” he said.

“They asked SRT to consider cancelling trips to Sila At station in Uttaradit province to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection.”

He said the SRT had therefore cancelled two trains from Bangkok to Uttaradit:

Train No 111 from Bangkok to Den Chai will temporarily stop the service from April 16.

Train No 112 from Den Chai to Bangkok will temporarily stop the service from April 17.
