WOW......I'm now in 1967 and I'm sure that in 2020 the technology will be soooo great, people will be sooo smart, information sooo easily accessible, and the world will work together and solve anything.

or be complete morons and share nothing, produce junk, say nothing, and politics and money rule the world

or that

Gee I don’t know just what do you think is acceptable?and keep in mind it doesent kill everyone but it would make many others deathly ill for 2 or 3 weeks that in its sielf would be an economic gut punch + with people dropping out right and left would have a terrible effect as well no sir imo it would be criminally callous not to do everything possible to save life stay safe all stay healthy pull together and follow protocols

You can also mention, that the "clotting" issue experienced by many younger patients.

Strokes, organ impairment, and possibly longer term effects as yet not seen, as too early.  Further cost to the systems and the economy.
This is not just up and back to it , for many patients.

The ban...how many flew in from China after the ban )40,000 I heard)?

Those are re-patriating American passport holders and green card holders.

Where did the major influx of covid come from? (Europe)

You don't know that.

Why, when banning flights from Europe, did the President initially exempt UK and Ireland (London being just a short train ride from Paris and Brussels).

Because the Uk wasn't a hotspot at the time.

Opening up the economy....why did the President absolve himself fromall responsibility for closing down?  Does he actually have the authority to force States to open up?

I don't know, does he? According to lying liberals and the mentally incapable the only time Trump has authority is when you guys agree with what hes doing.

Democratic States in deficit?  What about Republican ones?  How would Kentucky (MItch McConnell's state) fare without year on year federal transfers from other States?

And now we get to where liberals dont understand how local, state, and federal taxes, laws and money works. Federal law requires all states to operate in a certain way and with certain standards and some states can not make enough money to meet those guidelines - therefore the fed provides funds.

The states that are hardest hit by covid are Democrat run states that DO make enough money to implement basic federal law and then they go PAST that federal law and implement statewide local laws and regulations on their own.

They overspend and flaunt federal law and now that covid is here those same states are going to use the virus as a way to get out of bankruptcy and absolve themselves of massive, longstanding debt - and that's wrong. Any way you cut it.

I know facts and context are hard for liberals. I also know they *HATE* bailouts (unless its statewide democratic failure, then its cool) but this is how the country works.

Another one that can't read. Cuomo is the governor of NY and the imbecile De Blasio is the Mayor of NYC. The dems were downplaying the virus even more than Trump was, that's a fact. <SNIP>

Vaiid case to make de Blasio was unfortunately following trump's lead until he woke up, same with Cuomo

De Blasio appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on March 10 and joined President Trump in casting the corona virus as similar to the flu.

Cuomo response timeline from a CNBC video

Nice side step. Flu is not same as corona virus like you claimed. Ask your doctor.

There would be millions of deaths every year without the flu vaccine. Though there is ongoing research for a for a universal flu vaccine, currently requires an annual flu vaccine update.

How the heck do they get to a 73k death estimate when there's already at 61.7k and still killing 14k a week.

They (the feds) keep raising THEIR estimate... 50K, then 60K, then 60-70K.... Stay tuned.... This thing is far from anywhere near being over in terms of the death toll.

And I believe, the estimate the feds have been giving out only covers a period up through August 1 or so.... and not anything that's going to happen after that point.

PNAS has a high reliability because of its access to many expert National Academy of Sciences members-editors. Why am I telling this when recalcitrants never believe in science. Never mind, just deny; it is much easier.

Science says 500k deaths pa.

Never mind the science.
