Nakhon Ratchasima has tightened its lockdown by banning factory and other workers from travelling outside the province.

The provincial communicable disease committee announced on Wednesday (April 29) that labourers must refrain from travelling until the Covid-19 outbreak is resolved.

Workers who have to leave the northeastern province must first get permission from their factory.

On their return, they must inform public health officials and undergo 14-day quarantine.

Meanwhile, labourers and factory operators have been ordered to comply strictly with any instructions from public health official.

They are discouraged from inter-provincial travel.

But, the relevance of labourers is - as I am sure you appreciate - that mass number of manual workers travel to Bangkok et al to work in factories or the building industry.
