Thailand reported its lowest number of Covid-19 cases in over a months with six new cases confirmed over a 24-hour period and no deaths, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman of the government’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Friday (May 1).

Three Cambodians arrested for Patong human-trafficking gang

PHUKET: Three Cambodians have been arrested for their involvement in a human-trafficking operation in Patong that saw children beaten with a coat hanger if they failed to make B3,000 a day selling garlands to tourists.

Phuket officials report zero new confirmed COVID cases

PHUKET: The Phuket Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) Incident Command Center today (May 1) announced zero new confirmed cases of people infected with the COVID-19 coronavirus, leaving the total number of people in Phuket officially recognised as infected with the disease since the outbreak began at 217.

Local administrations ordered to provide ‘milk aid’ to families with infants

PHUKET: Phuket Governor Phakaphong Tavipatana had ordered all 17 municipalities and local administration organisations (OrBorTor) on the island to specifically help families with babies affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

Aviation authority allows airlines to cancel scheduled summer flights

Expiry of egg export ban brings farmers relief
