I want to cancel my True VIsions sub. Paid up till  30 Sept. Will they refund almost 6 months subscription?......or just the deposit?

Somehow not expecting to get a single baht back but you never know.

Thanks folks.

Over the years I've been tempted to pull the trigger on Truevisions. Me and the fam would love to watch some football and movies. Movies are hard to find with Thai subs or dubs otherwise. The TrueID Android box looks pretty cool. But then the wife and I have been to the True shop in the mall several times, and can never get a straight answer on what my monthly bill will be, or the contract I'll have to sign. They've only said they want to tie it to my phone bill for discounts.

Then there are too many packages. Of course football's an extra package, and you can't get it with the cheap packages. So it looks like you'll be paying a couple thousand a month. Bah. Can see why you're canceling. I'm better off taking that money to the bar, watching the games there, and getting beer included! Then the fam's got movies on Mono29.

Nobody in my family ever had a problem.

Monomax and HBO Go both have dubs and subs, for 40bht on top of your 3BB fibre subscription.

I waited over 2 years for a TrueVision refund I was entitled too (equipment deposit) - a really simple matter.  Yes?  No.

After 5 or 6 telephone calls, it became obvious I wasn't going to get the refund anytime soon.  Plan B

Found the email address for the big Boss of TrueVision's owner (it's posted online), and started emailing him twice a day for weeks on end.  5 weeks later, I received the refund.

I had no problem getting my STB deposit back from True on two occasions. It took very little effort on my part and I found their staff to be very helpful. That was a few years ago. I doubt whether you will get your outstanding subscriptions refunded though.
