Anyone know if it's possible to rent a laptop computer in Bangkok? Looks like I'll need one for about 3-4 weeks.

Thanks for any suggestions, Misty

I think that's difficult! I wouldn't rent a Laptop to Strangers which are not old and well known customers of mine!

Why you don't buy a 2. hand one for a reasnoble price? At Pantip on the 4. floor they have plenty orm ~8,000 baht up!

In case anyone else is interested, just found this company: Bangkok Computers, website: www.bangkok-computers.com . Not clear if it's related to Thaksin :o Will check it out and see if they rent laptops, and what the cost is. Cheers, Misty

Computer Rentals - Leasing

Bangkok Computers Thailand now offers both short and long-term computer rentals and leasing to companies and individuals throughout the country. Companies requiring the latest — and fastest — IT hardware often prefer to lease or rent computer hardware, thereby allowing them to upgrade to the latest equipment at the end of a specific period ot time. For the business or holiday traveler to Thailand, nothing is more cost-efficient than a computer rental on a monthly — or weekly — basis. Full delivery and installation, as well as on-site support and maintenance, are included with each and every computer rental.

Thaksin used to have laptop rentals company . lol many years ago
