Inderpland Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 I will again post this question as my previous attempt was left unanswered and all my searches turn up old threads with non-connected phone numbers: I need to have some work done on my rain gutters so can anyone recommend a person or company for this kind of work?
jacko45k Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) Plastic or galvanized metal? Not much help, but I had some building work done and the builder had to call in a special guy to do the guttering, proper primo uomo he was too. So try going via a builder or builders merchant where you buy the stuff.. I found this under PCEC. SEENUAN Engineering Two telephone numbers: 087-5832166 & 092-9127124 On card says Pho Yai Gui market is 500 meters away No name on card, but suggest you have a Thai speaker to call them as English is very limited For Installation & Repairs-Rain gutter-Zinc, Stainless steel-Hood-Ventilator, Awning-Wrought iron, all kinds of steel. Thanks for the tip. I've got sheet metal gutters and only need a minor modification done.
mran66 Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) There is a sheet metal shop doing all kind of sheet metal works incl gutters on Sukhumvit, driving south from Pattaya Tai right after Soi 81, you could go ask there. Used them to make some sheet profiles to cover leaking roof joint, however installed myself so don't really know how good installation work they do and how much cost. But felt like reasonable fellows and the sheets I needed were not expensive, made for me on the spot. Edited May 15, 2020 by mran66 2
DrTuner Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 (edited) If you opt for PVC gutters, go the extra mile and try to get somebody from the manufacturer (probably from BKK) to install them. I had a bunch of somchai acrobats on bamboo scaffoldings for weeks and still they couldn't get into their boneheads how to properly glue them together. The system is sort of holding together now. Mine are from them: https://www.vggutter.com/home Edited May 15, 2020 by DrTuner
