"program files" or "program files x86"

Copy both,  it is there by design, X86 is for older 32-bit operating systems and the "normal" program files directory for 64bit OS. Having both enables backwards compatibility with older computers and OS

Copying from either folder, unless it is a portable program that you put in there, will not work of a dvd/cd.

Add in that many application also utilize \ProgramData\ and the hidden \Users\Default\ and \Users\Default\AppData\ and it's a wonder you can find anything required to backup or restore an individual program.

As already stated, best to use the original installer.

More simply put you cannot copy an installed program for use elewhere.

It is futile to try unless you have serious experience, which, if you did, would mean you wouldnt ask the question in the first place.

Correct!  And, in addition to what others have said, the installer makes changes to the Registry, so just copying files is of no use even if you exactly replicated all the folders, hidden and otherwise.

OP....you're on a hiding to nothing!☹️
