Thai people had become lenient in protecting themselves from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) after eased lockdowns in all kinds of activities.

 

BANGKOK – A survey has found that Thai people become obviously lenient in protecting themselves from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) when it comes to sanitizing hands, eating newly cooked food, using personal spoons, keeping distances from each other and refraining from touching faces.

COVID-19 quarantine: one man's experience

Mr David Armstrong, a long-term Australian resident in Thailand, travelled to Sydney on the Thai Airways flight on 25 April. He has kindly shared with us his quarantine experience in Sydney.

 

I was feeling anxious as I walked into my quarantine hotel room and the serviceman closed the door behind me. This space was to be my cell for the next two weeks. I could not leave; no one was allowed to enter.

Thailand sees three new virus cases – all in state quarantine

Phuket beach cleanup nets 40kg of trash

Anutin: We haven’t sent officials to hotels to discuss quarantine facilities

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul clarified today (May 26) that his ministry has not sent officials to discuss with hotel operators the possibility of using their rooms as state quarantine facilities in exchange for money, as reported recently.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Macau gambling king Stanley Ho, who built a business empire from scratch in the former Portuguese colony and became one of Asia's richest men, died peacefully at the age of 98, his family confirmed on Tuesday.

Several countries have pointed out that wildlife wet markets are the cause of the Covid-19 outbreak, especially pointing the finger at one in the Chinese city of Wuhan which sold dogs, foxes, rats, squirrels, wolf cubs and salamanders among other animals.

Relief funding for three groups of needy people okayed
