GF has to renew her motorbike licence. Does anyone know if the DMV at Lipa Noi is open for  business at the moment? 

I would imagine that as a government office, it would be open, the same as Immigration is, but want to confirm before doing the long journey to the other side of the island.

Can't do it just now.  All DLT offices are closed for new licence issues and renewals.   They say that they will start again when the Emergency Order is rescinded.

It is now possible to renew your driving licences. My friend did it today in Lipa Noi.

For renewals be there at around 09:45. There were no queue numbers used, just check in at the tent in front of the building.

 

Bring expired licences, passport- and visa- copies, and certificate of residence from immigration (all copies double, if motorbike + car).

No medical certificate required for renewals.

"Tests" are the same as usual, just wear your mask, keep distances and dress decently.
