as for the beaches - I've posted enough on the subject, it is blatant racism and is only happening on beaches frequented by foreigners

Keeping the bars closed is now clearly political too.

The process of gentrification takes many forms. First, by any means drive the tenets from the beachfront. In the US they curtail government services - allowing nefarious elements to drive out the current residents and lower prices.
