Many thanks to the PM for this timely speech with excellent intentions.!
The Thai Govt should start by clearing the decks of all obstacles, and holding a FAIR, DEMOCRATIC and TRANSPARENT ELECTION, which would create the vehicle to implement the PM's great proposal.

He also commended people for standing united during this time of crisis and asked why people waste time playing political games instead of staying united so the country can move forward.

He said that since the world was entering the “new normal”,

Translated:  Wear a mask, social distance, and shut-up.

"Do as we say, not as we do."

What about local elections and replace the appointed Governors and Senate?

And how would the khon dee then make sure the khon ngoo (apparently especially those in the provinces) vote the way that's best for them?  :whistling:

It's very important that the Thai people unit, all think alike and follow daddy the leader (a general or German tourist).

Another BS speech from the dictator. When has he ever kept a promise to the Thai people, apart from his rich cronies. He asked why people play political games ? He is the expert at that, been doing it ever since the coup. Nobody with any sense believes any of his <deleted> talk.

An expert at playing political games?? He is ex military, more interested in control, about the only thing he has in common with politicians is the way he keeps telling lies.

He is giving the public a say in policy making and some political affairs and listening to their ideas and input.

Polls indicate that Thailand is happy with the government and Khun Prayut Chan O Cha.

- The majority of Thai people have expressed confidence in the government of Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, according to a survey by Super Poll Research -

If he genuinely wants to involve the people in decision making, how about some proper election? With an actual objective and independent anti corruption agency, election commission, constitutional court etc. No?

You are being silly now. How would they be able to rig the election. This man is guilty of treason.

...from the man who repeated there would not be a coup, who did not want to be the leader when there was a coup, who wanted elections to be held as soon as possible, who said he had never been a public official and was therefore somehow allowed to become Prime Minister without even standing in an election, who wanted to end corruption but refused to release his families financial information and quickly appointed his brother to lucrative positions.....shameless.

Yes imposter

Silly guy. No one loves him and his crew. Even most of the military grunt folk probably hold disdain as well.
