not to mention their diplomats that now mouth-off all the time like a bunch of fascists.

Sorry, can you explain to me whether they are communists or fascists. I thought they were on different sides of the fence.

I am too lazy to go back through the research but the US had a method of disguising their attacks, had a special name so in your field you should know.

Seems you have no clue about source IP addresses and ssh and brute force attacking it.

If you claim it is the US disguising as Chinese then overcome your laziness and explain how they do it (if you can). Or is that too much work for a 50 cent post?

Seem like US has capitulate in their 5G war with Huawei. They have start easing restriction and that will put Australia is an uncomfortable position. Price you pay for blindly following Trump’s reckless foreign policy.

Which has nothing to do with Chinese cyber attacks, or do you claim Huawei is participating in them?

Fear China is the governments narrative

for the sheeple, while you should fear

your government more. During this corona

nonsense, your liberty, human rights removed,

cancer patients ignored, old and infirm not

protected, businesses and jobs gone,

desperate suicides, track and trace filtered

by the military, biometric recognition shared

Lord knows where. Free speech banned,

even your thoughts are controlled on

social media.

Johnson declared the UK on a war footing.

To me it looks like government is at war

with the people.

All true, and I spend a lot of energy pointing out the “nonsense”, as you say, done under the pretext of Corona. So I fully agree to that part.

But even if our own governments are doing that to us, it does not mean that China is the good boy here. I wish it would be like that, and we would have help, but unfortunately not. Not at all.

Good thinking, there are no good boys.

It is an international movement towards

the prophecy of the Georgia Guidestones.

An unfortunately necessity.

Is there really a difference? One is supposedly Left and one Right. Both are authoritarian systems designed to hold the masses down by force.

Found the quote, I think it is from David Stockman.

However, that evidence-free narrative was greatly undercut last week by leaked CIA documents describing a false flag program called “UMBRAGE.” It was designed to allow the CIA to routinely appear as if they were hackers operating out of Russia

Welcome to the 'new abnormal' BS.

With more items added to a list of

‘wrongthink’ and the narrowing  down

of the range of speech allowed on their

platforms to match legacy corporate media.

Cyber attacks and China nonsense is

the distraction.

Government neurolinguistics and fear

can make you believe anything.

Cyper attacks and spying have been going on since the dawn of the web. Not news anymore. Onus for Australia is to erect adequate defence against cyberattacks. All superpowers are engaged in cyber espionage.

Chinese Ministry of truth will love you, lets ask all governments around the world not to report our attacks on them as its not news anymore

Yeah, the post was aimed at the views of another poster who said to the effect we shouldn't be critical the Chinese government, with the implication being we are too much in their pockets.   Wasn't for a moment suggesting the Morrison government is left.   Since Turnbull was ousted, the centrists are back in control.  They are striking a good balance between valid criticism and conciliatory wording.  Left side of politics just think Australia should bend over and cop every inch China wants to shove in.

When I saw your first response and your confused face I thought you might have misinterpreted my post. Doesn't matter. Happens sometimes, and I should perhaps be clearer in my writing.

Totally different issue. Indeed, you have no clue about source IP addresses and ssh and brute force attacking it.

Not enough for you. How about this one, again David Stockman:

That's right. Owing to the latest Wikileaks disclosures of March 2017 via a trove of leaked CIA documents it calls "Vault 7," it now appears that all of the other dubious intelligence community's claims and "assessments" about Russian hacking have been ash-canned.

That is, Vault 7 suggests the CIA has the ability to manufacture and deposit electronic trails to “misdirect attribution” by leaving false cyber fingerprints.

Using a library of foreign malware and hacking tools, the CIA can plant Russian, Chinese, Iranian or other hackers’ fingerprints to make the hackers appear to be from one of those countries -- even as they do the job from the comfort of their offices in Langley, VA.

And again, this has nothing to do with how ssh works. Nothing at all.

Try again!

Hint: you need to read up on source IP addresses, and on how you could spoof them, but in a way that an ssh session could be established using that spoofed IP address. And then do that not just once, but for the thousands of Chinese IP addresses showing up in these brute force attacks.

Or ask one of your CCP friends to get one on their specialists to explain you how it works, next time you collect your 50 cents.

Well let us look at what we have here.

Do I believe a connected American political commentator who put his reputation on the line with public statements or an anonymous TVF poster.

Sorry, you didn’t get it yet. Let me try to explain once more:

David Stockman might very well be correct and right in what he is reporting, and I do not claim that he is wrong. I’m even inclined to say that he has a point. But David Stockman is talking about different issues, very different technologies then what I was reporting. I understand that your lack of technical knowledge makes you mixing up the underlying technologies, but nevertheless, I talk about apples and you about bananas.

As said earlier:

And that is not what David Stockman talks about.
