Its been called Lewinskiis for around the last 20 years.

I was a regular in the ANZAC when Brooksie was the manager.

I recall it well.... mostly watched it from Dave's GB Bar across the street, where I was a feature!

I don't recall it being 'no famales' although Pattyaland 1 had a no hostesses place, (Irish Bar on Corner) as did Pattayaland 2 (Called Cheers maybe).

Yes, that sounds like him.

He was there for a few years as Manager before buying Uncle Kens Toast Shop which was a small bar on Second Road across the street from Pattayaland 1.

I asked about him on another forum and was told that several years ago, he went back to Sydney and had died.

Back in those day, Daves GB Bar was the place to go early Saturday night.

They had a guy with a radio in his ear, and he would update a board with all the football scores as the goals went in.

Satellite TV killed that.

Didn't it then get taken over by an American who called it Tropics, then an Irish man who called ir Mulligans then another who called it Sinbin before becoming one of the many very successful Indian restaurants that prolifigate around town?
