They are not in Thailand yet and until they are, many bars will just stay shut and wait. 6 hours ago, webfact said: Much of their reluctance concerns the 22 new rules about what patrons can and can't do. 6 hours ago, webfact said: Social distancing measures alone will mean if they are to follow the rules they will be at 50% capacity. 6 hours ago, webfact said: Then there is the extra cost of cleaning and health monitoring devices. 6 hours ago, webfact said: This will involve extra staffing and extra expense. They will be needed to enforce where patrons can walk, stop them singing and dancing. It will just not be worth it. In other words, if we can't open and operate like we used to then we won't open.

I have no love for Prayut been that way for ages. Have been a fan of FFW since it was formed and it was a sad day when they were shut down. I am thinking that the government is lying have been so for a long time. If you look at the stats the BBC posted over extra deaths and it shows like 2300+ so a lot went unreported. So corvid is still out there. Having said that its still like a 20 times better performance then the UK in corvid stats. Why did you not answer the question and why did you deflect onto something irrelevant? Maybe the scent from the barmaids apron has got you a tad squiffy The question was, there are no reported cases for a month in Thailand why the rules? And you keep rabbiting on about it not being safe. If there are zero new cases, how is that not safe? For much longer than a month, people have been congregating on Soi Buckhao like flocks of sheep, no new cases. Bars have been open here and there, no new cases. Loads of available girls to screw, no new cases even though they will have been exchanging saliva! Have you tried that alcohol gel on your undies to see if it removes skidmarks? 3
Popular Post newnative
Way too restrictive. Should just have temp. check, sign in and out, some extra cleaning, and limit capacity. See how it goes for a few weeks. I just had lunch at a restaurant today and tables were limited to 2 people but there really wasn't any social distancing between tables and no screens anywhere. I was sitting in a booth and there was someone right behind me in a booth with no screen. If that's the social distancing for restaurants, bars shouldn't be any different and let people decide for themselves if they want to go in or not.

So yes I think the harsh lockdown helped us. But now they are going to risk it all again by opening borders and opening entertainment area's. Just opening the entertainment area's isnt that bad if they kept the borders locked down. And just how long do you think the borders should stay closed? One month? One year? Wait for a vaccine which might never arrive?, in the meantime the economy collapses! Lucky you aren't in charge of the country. If people do not protest this infringement on peoples freedoms then the future is bleak for all. 5 1 1

I would estimate the odds of anyone in a bar frequented by farangs being busted at around 90%. Of course there will be mass confusion on what is OK or Not OK. They will arrest first and ask questions later, so they can get picture in the news media. Best they stay closed until these stupid 22 rules go away. Arrest them? of course not. Why should the police now start to do their job properly? The usual backhanders will be requested. Don't forget the police have not had most of their usual perks for the past 3/4 months. A few hundred baht will come in very handy

Because if one part is not following them all get infected. So it makes no sense to follow any of them. As for driving without a helmet I dont mind people doing it as long as the guys in the cars that hit (and kill) them don't have to pay out if is proven its caused by not wearing an helmet. Let them kill themselves. I wear an helmet not for the police but for my safety. You are basing your presumption on a nation that has alot of infected people like the US, the UK, etc. Just not the case here. The 22 rules are a huge over reaction by men who know very little and were not hired based on merit. My guess is that some small bars will reopen. Most will just take a huge hit. And the longer a place is closed, the harder it is to reopen. We will be seeing massive vacancy and unemployment for quite some time to come here.
