I won't comment on the nonsense of race because that is not in the laws of Missouri but you missed a important fact in this case.

 

Brandishing a firearm, with reason( protecting self and private property) is probably lawful in  Missouri ! Without going into sources ,(you can use deadly force in Missouri if you feel your life is threaten on your property or residence .

All of the above requires some one in fear of there life to brandish.

Trump is doing far far more than anyone elseto dismantle the US Federal Insitutions.  The number of vacnat senior positions across the federal government is frightening.  And not good AT ALL for the US' long term future.

Portland Place should be open to the public. I walked down it in the 1960's with my family. It looked a lot less fancy then.

 

Protesters walked through the closed, but unlocked gate just to the right of the tower entering from Kinsghighway Blvd (opposite Pershing). 

 

Did all the other Portland Place residents feel similarly threatened? Did they brandish guns? Were the police called?

 

How do the servants get to work on this street? How do the lawn care guys get to work on this street

 

How is mail delivered?

 

How do the SLMPD and SLFD repsond to calls on this street?

 

I have no issue with the mccloskeys brandishing legal firearms on their property. 1A, check. 2A check. Threatening unharmed people, when there is little threat to oneself is probably illegal. The mccloskeys seem to be aware of this, as they are (PI) lawyers, and therefore are ramping up up the public campaign to defend their actions.

 

My only concern is mrs. mcclaskey's firearm handling. It appears she learned how to handle a handbag, but not that Walther or SIg Sauer 380. I hope it wan't loaded as she could have injured herself or her husband. The lack of footwear, and questionable fashion sense get a pass.

 

I see mr. mccloskey was holding his rifle with one hand, while pointing his left hand. Maybe he could use a refresher course?

No they were protesters, where is the potential in the behaviour, had they rioted previously ?? Not according to the article, you cannot convict a person for something they have not done or planned to do.

Shooting or threatening  to shoot when there is no immediate threat is the problem here 

It was the mayors home they were going to , not the governors mansion.

People always like to say things like this, but in my 36 years on the planet nobody ever says stuff like this in real life, and I have never felt 'disliked by most of the world' - thats just you verbalizing that you dislike americans/america and justifying it by including yourself into this imaginary group you made up.

Well that may be because you mix with like minded people, with similar viewpoints of division, and you cannot deny that the current regime has caused division, furthered racism, and encouraged nationalism. 

Individual Americans are reasonable on the surface, but even when living there the divisions of fear, were obvious and racism is rampant.

The current regime has stoked all the unattractive things and it is increasing.
