Peaceful protests have turned violent, the police have been responsible for unnecessary beatings and deaths, statues have been defaced, and one particular demonstration which I found to be absolutely disgusting, was where white people were screaming, hissing and spitting at a black person because they were being escorted to a white school.

Mob rule has been around forever and the problem here is that trump and his divisive rhetoric is just stoking the fires, so a divisive president is getting exactly what he wants.

 

This is not a "left-wing cultural revolution" but a bringing to the fore of grievances that have been unanswered and unsettled.

If the pandemic keeps the surge its on, into next week, and we get above the 80K a day. The pandemic will be OUT OF CONTROL. Trump seemed to give up doing anything about it as of a week ago. A former CIA chief said, 'he's went AWOL' tossed in the towel. He has no stomach for national leadership required to fight a pandemic.

 

As such Trump reckoned his best bet, maybe only one, is to try and ignite a culture/social war. And he has a media propaganda site just for that, to poor gas, FOX NEWS. While riots & white rage in the street are fun, once the pandemic goes critical, the cost of the meltdown will enormous. They bitch about the lockdown & masks, just wait. Once it gets out of control it will roar right through till election day. I wonder if he will just quit instead of facing judgement day.
