Burma Holiday

Featured Replies

About to take my wife of 22 years on hols in Burma. She is slightly worried about how Burmese react to Thai/Farangs, hence has anybody any advice. I was last there in 1983 and wanted to take the family but the kids want to do their own thing and now the wife's getting dubious. Good news please

I was in North Thailand last winter. We went to the border town of Mae Sai. Traditionally the tour guides took people over the bridge to Burma, but they now do not because they consider the situation to be too dangerous in Burma. :o
