I'm not very familiar with what grows well in Thailand.  Anyone can point me to some resources on the best type of Trees, hedges, etc. that one can use in Thailand for landscaping purposes?  Such as 'Garden Walls', shade, etc.

(Not talking about fruit/food).

Thank you.

I moved to this place nearly 13 years ago, there was not one single tree or plant at the time.

Everything you see is planted and as you can tell most trees and plants are doing very well.

Just go to any plantshop and buy what you think looks nice, just let it grow and in a few years you can pick and chose what you want to keep.

I bought one raintree when i moved here,it was about 5 meters high and it needed a truck with crane.

I also planted some smaller rain trees and now they are all nearly the same size!

Advice, buy small stuff you can plant by yourself,a lot cheaper that way.Rain trees were planted 20 meter apart and the branches are touching now.
