webfact
U.S. President Trump's re-election campaign spends $50.3 million in June By Jason Lange, James Oliphant and Grant Smith U.S. President Donald Trump speaks about legislation for additional coronavirus aid in the Oval Office at the White House in Washington, U.S., July 20, 2020. REUTERS/Leah Millis WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's re-election campaign ramped up spending in June as the presidential race intensified, outlaying more than $50 million - about twice what Trump spent the month before. Trump ended the month with $113 million (89.15 million pounds) in cash, according to a disclosure filed on Monday with the Federal Election Commission. Trump's campaign funneled money into television ads as public opinion polls showed his Democratic opponent Joe Biden increasingly building a significant lead ahead of the Nov. 3 election. And while Trump's campaign bought significant television air time across the country, Biden only launched his first major advertising blitz in the second half of June, targeting battleground states like Pennsylvania and Michigan. The Wesleyan Media Project, which tracks campaign spending, said in a study earlier this month that between May 11 and June 28, the Trump campaign bought 50,000 ads nationwide, while the Biden campaign bought just 3,100 in the same period. Despite Trump's ad budget advantage, the president has lost ground against Biden in public opinion polls as many Americans have soured on his handling of the coronavirus health crisis. Biden led Trump among registered voters by 10 percentage points in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted July 14-15. Popular Post spidermike007
Talk about wasted cash. He would be better off resigning and donating that cash to a worthy cause. He is cascading towards a humiliation of epic proportions. And alot of that is his own doing. Right now, Trump is Biden's top ally. 2 1
Popular Post Walker88
It's actually conceivable that the Federal Election Commission will include 45's donations and spending as part of the Biden for President Campaign, because every single thing 45 is doing and every dime he is spending is helping Biden rise in the polls. If 45 runs through his entire stack. it's likely Biden will jump to a 25 point lead. Go for it, 45! 3

He is profiting from his position as POTUS. President Trump’s company charges the Secret Service for the rooms it uses while protecting Trump at his properties. The charges have been as high as $650 per night for a Mar-a-Lago Club hotel room, or $17,000 a month for a cottage at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. Who pays these bills? U.S. taxpayers. That means Trump has a business arrangement with his own government. Since Trump took office, he has visited his own properties in excess of 375* days. Secret Service agents come with him. And Trump’s company charges them.
