Medical professor recommends delay of travel bubble for at least 6 months

The travel bubble plan, which would allow small groups of foreign tourists to visit Thailand, should be shelved for at least another six months, because of the high-risk of COVID-19 infection, said Associate Professor Dr. Thira Woratanarat of the Faculty of Medical Science of Chulalongkorn University.

Police, FDA seize 119 dangerous supplements in Pratunam raid

A team from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and police raided an illegal factory near Bangkok’s Pratunam intersection and confiscated 119 items that were made using hazardous substances and sported fake labels. The products were valued at Bt200,000.

Cabinet boosts weekday tourism vouchers to Bt900/night

The Cabinet today agreed to improve the “Rao Tiew Duay Kan” (We Travel Together) domestic tourism scheme by increasing the value of weekday accommodation vouchers from Bt600 to Bt900 per day, to encourage travel between Monday and Thursday.

Phuket tells hotels not to raise prices; be honest in marketing

KYIV (Reuters) - All 13 people taken hostage on a bus in western Ukraine by a man armed with guns and a grenade were freed on Tuesday evening after a standoff with police ended without casualties, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said.

UTCC warns of economic threats from protests

Rains to increase water level in dams, reservoirs, canals
